It seems that my expectations were too high. Conclusions are more about the research method itself than actual/reliable findings on differences between pros vs trainees or different software. Too few participants, too short clip (86 secs) to be subtitled.

Of course it is very difficult to conduct research with such few resources (probably human resources in this case, as eyetracking and other tools were available). The only way forward is with funded research involving a large team and with institutional backing.

In any case, the methodology seems rigorous (despite the small sample) and hopefully there's more to come.
