Why do I always forget that Indian names are usually presented surname first? I end up calling everyone by the surname, it's awful. But I also get a "Hi, Sokoli" sometimes too, so I suppose it's kind of a usual mistake...

Thank you @fxdurandy @Untertitelforum @iashay @bharat5bharati! It must be something with the email system then, for admin reasons. I'll be more careful, 'cause "Hi, [surname]" is definitely not cool over here. Either "Dear Ms [surname]", or "Hi, [name]" Unless you're at school 😄
