I've been ranting about #subtitling templates lately, especially for pivot translation. This does not mean I don't appreciate the hard work behind them. But workflows are far from ideal. It's hard for subtitlers to work from a language & culture they don't understand and

rely on English only. There are many multilingual subtitlers out there, and a system matching the right person to the right job might help. If that's not possible, then we need templates with lots of notes and explanations. This would raise chances of quality #subtitles.
