As a user of #MachineTranslation, I'm very grateful for its advances: gives me access to info that otherwise would be indecipherable and it sometimes enhances productivity in my work as a professional translator.
Would I use it to enjoy foreign literature and films? No (not yet)

And here is a nice summary of why I use #MT for info (knowing it might be misleading) and not for pleasure: the use of language itself is great part of literary enjoyment.
