All the mispellings of my name are so funny, I thought they deserve a thread. First things first, I sincerely thank each and every person that tries to write it, no matter the outcome. And some etymology: #Σταυρούλα is the female version of Σταύρος, which nowadays means cross.

The word comes from the verb ίστημι= straigthen up or stand. The Latin equivalent is staurare. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stauros

And now to the mispellings. Some of them have a different meaning in Greek:
Stravoula = crοoked/cockeyed
Savroula = small lizard
Tavroula = small bull (female actually)
Savvoula = another name, female of Savvas
