Now this is exciting. Way to go #TRADAC!
@ElenaDiGi @ireneranzato @carol_osullivan @JorgeDiazCintas, Aline, Fede, Marie-Noelle, and everyone!

I need to research the #subtitler called Rose Sokol :)

Subtitler visibility is more important than you'd think. It affects both quality and rates.
Some anglophone subtitlers have gained notoriety.

@carol_osullivan talks about subtitlers as authors, but has not mentioned the teamwork behind them. Yet :)
I agree, this is a very troubling attitude by L. Venuti.
Dear Lawrence, some of us think we know what we are doing, and we do reflect on our work. Sorry we haven't been able to reach you. (Mental note: need to publish more)

Next up: Another wonderful person, Marie-Noelle. A great scholar, too, of course.
Who knows if we'll meet again one day...

Marie-Noelle Guillot's choice of text font, colour and background (echoing SDH) contribute to meaning-making and sense-making

I'm not sure that Korean nuances cannot be translated. There are ways to render different levels of politeness in your own language, but you need to *know about them*. #PivotTranslation through English doesn't help, especially when there are no annotations in the template.

Look @guillermosubs, you're being referenced!
