#Subtitle viewers' expectations vary a lot, but here are some extremes:
There's the foreign language speaker/learner who wants a literal translation of every word spoken. Feels cheated if "Good morning" is translated as "Hello". Aka the "That's not what he said" type.

On the other end, the viewer with zero knowledge of the language, big fan of the series, who would do anything to watch it. Even with unedited MT.
