Why the rush to declare winners in #AItranslation?

I just read an article claiming that #DeepSeek outperforms #ChatGPT in translation. The sources were mainly tweets, LinkedIn posts, users testing a sentence or two. That’s gathering user feedback (very superficially), not answering the question raised.

This kind of journalism doesn’t inform, it misleads. It shapes perceptions based on cherry-picked examples, not real evidence. Just adding to the noise masquerading as knowledge.
