Last November at Languages & The Media in Budapest, I was chatting with Wayne Garb during a break when he said something that stuck with me:
"You know, there are some amazing presentations here, but research can take ages to be published, if it ever is. Sometimes speakers or researchers don’t plan to publish, or for whatever reason, their work stays locked behind conference walls. Wouldn’t it be great if more of it saw the light of day?"
I thought it was a fantastic idea.

Fast forward three months, Wayne’s team at OOONA made it happen. OnStage is here, and I’m honored to be its very first contributor.

My presentation comes from the III Congreso Hispanoamericano de Traducción Audiovisual #HispaTAV, held last November in Madrid, an event expertly organised by the amazing Patrick Zabalbeascoa, Damián Santilli, and Marta Chapado, who very kindly invited me to give a plenary speech.

Check it out, and if you have a presentation, research, white paper, article, blog post, or video to share with the wider #medialocalization community, join in!
