Got to read the US administration order issued a few days ago about promoting #AIeducation. It clearly shows how closely US government priorities and Big Tech interests are now connected. The emphasis of public-private partnerships, shows that the companies will have a major role in shaping what kids learn about AI, and of course whose products they use. Starting from six(!)-year-olds. Early exposure, teacher training, national competitions, to "build an AI-skilled workforce", but mainly to deepen Big Tech’s influence on education. Shaping mindsets, habits, and platform loyalty.

I bet Mark’s, El*n’s, and Sam’s kids won’t be taking part in this. They’ll make sure their children have a carefree, analog life, one that’s better for mental and physical health. As for preparing the AI workforce? Let the guinea pigs do that.

PS: I’m all for AI in education. Just not for 6-year-olds. There’s plenty of time to build skills later, when young brains are better prepared. If you’ve read how much digital life harms kids, you’ll probably agree.
