Thrilled to receive my copy of the Routledge Handbook of the Translation Industry. Almost three years in the making, edited by the two and only Joseph Lambert and Callum Walker, the best editors one could hope for.

When they invited me and Paweł Aleksandrowicz to write about #SubtitlingWorkflows in November 2022 I happily accepted, thinking I knew enough to talk about my favorite subject. Literally two weeks later, ChatGPT pranced in our lives, AI was a thing, and soon enough I wondered if our piece would be outdated before it even saw print, with its only value being historical.

Luckily we had enough time to follow the developments and to produce an article that is still relevant. Our field proves resilient, and its core principles remain solid enough not to become obsolete overnight.

I feel so proud to see my name among giants in localization.
