It's always a pleasure to see multilingualism and multiculturalism celebrated at the Academy Awards: "31 countries across six continents are represented this evening. And every film, every film, we salute is the product of thousands of people speaking different languages, working hard to make something of beauty."

PS1: I just wish a professional subtitler had been involved in creating this single subtitle which was shown not once, not twice, so I felt three times the pain of that terrible line break.

PS2: If you're watching this with auto-dubs on YouTube (I checked Spanish and German), the voice cloning is very good and you follow the general idea of the monologue, but the disruptions and gaps are frequent enough to be disorienting. Like when Conan O'Brien switches to Spanish and you get silence, leaving you to guess at the joke entirely. Aka, the illusion of accessibility.
