I'm looking at AI-generated subtitles, and they're often good. Understandable.
I also notice a tendency not to use literal renderings - for the sake of naturalness? - which sometimes causes (huge) mistakes. Or flat dialogue.
For example, “I'm all ears” works perfectly word-for-word in Greek. Instead, “I'm listening” is used. Meh.

PS (meta-observation): While I was writing this, I noticed how much easier it is to anthropomorphise things. I had to fight against writing "in its effort to sound natural, it avoids literal renderings".
